Paranormal THEORY: Starting in 2020 and thru 2022, many sections and destinations along the Blue Ridge Parkway and Smoky Mountains have been closed for maintenance, repairs, or "safety updates" Blue Ridge Parkway mostly open in Asheville corridor, some parts to close for maintenance
- During 2020, the Linville Gorge route to Wiseman's was temp closed to "simple traffic"
- Sections of BRP were closed from 2020-Summer 2021.
- In 2022, three different waterfall trails or locations have been closed til, one is closed until Mid-Spring 2023.
