Leidy Maldonado trained as a psychologist in her native Colombia before moving to Australia to study English and now cookery. She works at Nu Nu restaurant in Cairns, Queensland, and recently competed in the San Pellegrino Young Chef Academy finals in Sydney. Leidy is passionate about mental health in hospitality and sees many synergies (and some important differences) between psychology and cooking.
