Like a lot of other metal fans I was blown away by the Dream Unending debut album, Tide Turns Eternal. It was my 2021 Doom album of the year. So when I got the opportunity to chat with Derrick Vella, the guitarist for Dream Unending and Tomb Mold, I was truly excited. Even with that excitement I was surprised by how positive and charismatic he was during the conversation. We talked about their ambitious new album Song of Salvation and of course some philosophy and I think his message is genuine and inspiring. I hope you enjoy.
