Behind the scenes Mississippi State looks for the next athletic director. On Scott Field the Bulldogs are hosting Auburn this Saturday evening. The visiting Tigers suddenly have a mystery aspect with an interim coach and play callers. Mike Leach's team is coming off an open date which should have the offensive line back to strength while the backfield is uncertain. Quarterback Will Rogers will hand off to someone but also continue his assault on SEC passing records. Last year he threw for a MSU-record six touchdowns in a comeback win at Auburn. The Bulldog defense should keep the ball out of Tank Bigsby's hands and make young Tiger quarterback quarterback make pressured decisions. With a win Mississippi State will be bowl eligible.
