We’re starting a new show about the intersections of pop culture and Gnosticism and this is our test ep for it AND this year’s Halloween special. The Darren Aronofsky film mother!, about a couple in an isolated country home encountering a series of disturbing visits by disturbing people, was advertised as a horror movie and wikipedia claims it’s a horror thriller so that’s good enough for this October BUT we debate if if it is a horror movie…or Gnostic….or what it is. A peculiar allegory that’s definitely saying something about god and the Bible, Deacon Jon, Jason, and Deacon Angie share their theories and go through the details so tune in and give us your mother! theories in the comments.
