Description
Paul defends God's sovereign righteousness by calling into question anyone's ability to answer back to God. The clay has no right to question the potter. God has the just right to show both his wrath and his mercy to whom He will for His glory--from both Jew and Gentiles. He quotes Hosea and Isaiah to reinforce this.
