SUMMARY

On this, the first Sunday of Lent, we discuss the story of Jesus in the wilderness with the tempter. A closer look at the nature of what tempted Jesus gives us insight into our Lenten journey. Paul's letter to the Romans includes encouragement to keep preaching the good news, and begs us to examine what we mean by the word "salvation."
