My next guest is Samie Hardman. She is the mother of 12 year old Drayke Hardman, who back in February of 2022 took his own life as a result of being bullied in school.
Drayke was the epitome of empathy, kindess and love in his 12 short years. She joins me to talk about the signs and events leading up to his tragic suicide and how the family is not only coping but thriving in the 8 months since he passed.
We talk about how we as parents, students, friends can watch out for and help bullies recognize the damage they’re doing to try and get them the help they need as well as protecting victims with love and kindness.
