Kate has worked in the medical device industry in the UK and the USA for 20 years and she is currently at a small startup working with a really fun group of people in the infection prevention space (so it is pretty busy right now!!!). She started her real estate investment journey by buying a small (terrible!) house in an area she didn't know.....everything you aren't supposed to do! She got away with it and sold it a few years later buying a few single-family houses in a good area she knew. She was a single-family home investor, moved to some small multi's and have sold most of them, and now investing exclusively in syndications.
