This week on the say YES to yourself! podcast Wendy talks with lovely Stacy Cordova.

Wendy and Stacy about the journey of discovery as you learn what you need and how to define your unique ‘soul care’. When you follow the breadcrumbs and listen to your intuition the path to what you truly need will reveal itself.  Stacy shares how she has spent time getting quiet so that she can find her path.  Prayer, meditation and getting in touch with her spiritual nature has allowed her to tune into her voice and allow the messages to come through.

They also talk about the old programming of giving and giving at your own detriment, and changing that narrative to one that celebrates giving from a full cup.

Stacy also shares about her upcoming book which documents her Aunt’s story of forced sterilization and the dark times that surrounded those experiences.  She talks about the generational trauma surrounding this history, and how healing through sharing these stories is not easy but is integral to true soul care and to being a disruptor for things that need to change.

Stacy is a veteran Special Education teacher in the public school system. Experiencing burn out led her to seek the tools to help me extinguish it. In her 25+ years of working with and teaching students with special needs, she came to terms that her own needs were not being met. Her daily practice of Soul-Care has been life changing and led her down a path of exploring and healing.
