Back to EpisodesThe BRRRR Kid: How a 24 Year Old Investor Built a Portfolio of Over 30 Units featuring Giovanni Lisi
Description
This week we had the pleasure of interviewing 24 year old real estate investor Giovanni Lisi aka @thebrrrrkid. Giovanni got his start in real estate at age 19 when he got his real estate license while in college. He was able to help pay for his own tuition by selling houses and eventually transitioning into an investor.
It should go without saying, but the primary strategy he uses is the BRRRR strategy. For those who don't know that is when an investor buys a property, rehabs the property, rents it, and refinances to get as much of their initial invested capital back out of the property. From there, they then repeat the process on other deals. BRRRR = Buy, Renovate, Rent, Refinance, Repeat.
Giovanni has built an incredible team and system that has allowed him to scale to a portfolio of 30 units before he turns 25. Oh and did we mention he also has a property management company where he helps managed a portfolio of over 250 units? Yeah, the BRRRR kid has it going on. This is an episode you definitely don't want to miss!
