Donating blood is often seen as one the highest forms of generosity. Sadly and unknown to many, there is a lucrative market in place which generates billions of dollars each year from the sale of that blood. Even more disturbing many blood /plasma donation centers are often strategically placed in lower income and minority neighborhoods in the U.S. These centers offer a small compensation to entice a struggling population of people and then in turn sell that blood for huge profits. The selling of poor peoples blood is America's little dirty secret. In this episode we discuss this issue and the industry of blood donations.
