This week features Jimmy Meagher, a Policy Advocate at Safe Horizon. He discusses the numerous resources Safe Horizon offers to domestic violence survivors and the difference between domestic violence shelters run by the Human Resources Administration [HRA] and the Department of Homeless Services [DHS].
Safe Horizons is an organization created to offer Victim assistance. They currently Assist survivors of all forms of violence. They assist survivors of all forms of violence. Some programs include but are not limited to domestic violence shelters, support groups, safety planning, lock replacement, and legal assistance.
