Phonic Fiction Fest - Join us this weekend!

Check out the Phonic Fiction Fest this weekend.

48 hours - 1 story.

Come and join the fest!

Starting on October 14th at 11:59pm GMT all participants/teams are given a subgenre of horror and a single sound effect. Over the next 48 hours they have to create a 7-21 minute piece of horror audio fiction.

It's going to be hectic, fun and scary and I absolutely can't wait to get involved!

There are plenty of teams still looking for members, so whether you're interested in directing, acting, writing, audio editing or want to compose some eerie music to the scene, come and check it out!

"Cole Weavers from Pulp Audio’s The Town Whispers/Tiny Terrors and Nathan Lunsford from Grinner Media‘s The Storage Papers got together and thought it’d be fun to have a mad dash of creativity, but with everyone, everywhere, all at once. So here we are. We’re piloting a virtual festival where everyone has 48 hours to create a piece of phonic fiction from start to finish for no other reason than the fun of it. Afterwards there will be open voting for which was everyone’s favorite in various categories and overall. But the main thing is just the fun of it." - Phonic Fiction Fest Website
