This discussion is with Dr. Muriam Haleh Davis, Dr. Davis teaches at the University of California, Santa Cruz and is the author of Markets of Civilization: Islam and Racial Capitalism in Algeria (Duke University Press, 2022). Her research studies the relationship between decolonization and the history of the social sciences.
