• Airbnb shifts towards a focus on professional operators in an effort to grow horizontally 
• Introduction of Airbnb Plus and Airbnb Select
• Several changes in the executive board 

What didn´t happen in 2018 

• Airbnb didn´t IPO but expected to do so in 2019
• The Airbnb Open didn´t take place and probably won´t in the future either
• The much requested loyalty program wasn´t introduced
