This is the first part of Play That Rock'n'Roll's NEW 2022 interview with author Austin Trunick, which is a discussion about his NEW book, "The Cannon Film Guide, Volume II (1985 - 1987)". In this first part of the interview, we discuss where Cannon Films was in 1985, the trilogy of movies Cannon made with horror director Tobe Hooper, a largely-forgotten film called "Thunder Alley", and the "American Ninja" series.
