It was a busy weekend to kick off the June recruiting calendar for Penn State football. The Nittany Lions hosted their Whiteout camp on Saturday, their biggest collection of elite talent at a camp this summer. They followed that up with over 200 prospects from the Classes of 2022 through 2025 on Sunday in the Elite Showcase I.

At the Whiteout camp on Saturday, the Penn State had four of their five offensive line commits in 2023 and 2024 present for the event. Host and film analyst Thomas Frank Carr saw the one-on-one pass protection drills and has some thoughts on what he saw. Check out the video on our Youtube channel to see what he's talking about, but he gives a recap of the players involved. Surprisingly, the player that stood out the most was the youngest one of the group, four-star lineman Cooper Cousins.

After wrapping up his thoughts on the weekend, T-Frank shifts his focus to the current state of the Penn State offensive line. Earlier this summer, the media got a chance to speak with the redshirt freshman class for the first time. In that group is left guard Landon Tengwall, the probable starter at his position for 2022. T-Frank has long admired Tengwall's game and was interested to see what makes him tick as a football player.

T-Frank takes you through some of Tengwall's comments from the media session and explains what stood out to him about the guard's responses and demeanor.
