Mississippi State got a rude reality check after two easy non-conference wins, so for this third out-of-league contest against Bowling Green there can't be any loss of focus. No, not even with a grueling SEC stretch ahead and against a pair of West peers who happen to play this weekend. Mario wants the defense to fix some issues in keeping quarterbacks contained and for the offense to find that go-to receiver rather than just spread the ball around. Murray says league-leading passer Will Rogers needs to regain the sharpness of reads and throws shown in the first two wins. And, that special teams need to be special and not give away points.
