Remembering LP carries influences from blues, downtempo, club music and others combined in one delicious hotpot, with all originals produced from the scratch by K2W0 during the peak of covid. The sensitive listener gets deep insights into the personal reflections and emotions that arose by at that time, translated into sonic languages with heartfelt lyrics and expressive beats. K2W0 [K two] is a dreamer travelling across unknown yet familiar planes of existence. On his journey, the faceless wanderer encounters unique environments, cultures and beings. Each encounter tells a story of its own, which he expresses through his music. 'K2' is a mountain in Pakistan, which is also the second highest peak in the world. Originally from Pakistan and now living in the UK, K2W0 drew inspiration for his name from his roots. Inner Child – This poem is about the loss of innocence in the in the process of growing up as we try to find our place in society and are told who we should or shouldn’t be. It aims to highlight the negative consequences that come with distancing ourselves from our ‘inner child’ and how liberating it feels once we embrace it.
