Stop looking for happiness

Stop looking for happiness

Published 3 years, 3 months ago
Description

I lost an earbud. The other day while I was working in my yard, and I found it the next morning, I was very relieved because I had this dread in my stomach about having to replace it. Happiness, however, is not the same way. Sometimes we're looking for happiness the same way I was looking for my earbud I felt horrible because I couldn't find it. But I finally after quite a while, discovered where it was. Happiness is not that same way. If you're looking for happiness, you're never going to find it. Because happiness is in the moment right now. It isn't something that's going to happen in the future, and we might expect happiness to show up. But if we're looking for it, then we're less likely to find it. Happiness is only in the moment, which means happiness happens when you choose to be happy in the moment. So instead of looking for happiness, how about just choosing to be happy more often? I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
