In this episode, we welcome Owen Strachan to the show. He is the Provost and a Research Professor of Theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary in Arkansas, as well as a Senior Fellow with the Family Research Council. He earned his Ph.D from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and his M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has authored numerous books, including Reenchanting Humanity: A Theology of Mankind, The Pastor as Public Theologian: Reclaiming a Lost Vision, and his latest book Christianity and Wokeness: How the Social Justice Movement is Hijacking the Gospel – and the Way to Stop it. In this interview, we discuss how he became a theologian, what Critical Race Theory and Wokeness actually are, how those things have seeped into Christian congregations, the difference between “soft postmodernism” and “hard postmodernism”, why reparations are abiblical, why modern churches are repelling men, what to look for in a healthy church, and much more.
