Dr. Jillian Scherer did indeed have such thoughts and this was only one of he reasons she left fee for service medicine to open her DPC in a town where she had never practiced  before. She practices as a solo doc and is thriving in the clinic she has designed. She now has the balance she always wished for and loves the relationship-based practice she and her patients love!
