It's not everyday you will hear of a full scope Family Practice doc envision the means by which she could get injured by a vehicle in order to not have to return to a fee for service job. Dr. Jillian Scherer did indeed have such thoughts and this was only one of he reasons she left fee for service medicine to open her DPC in a town where she had never practiced  before. She practices as a solo doc and is thriving in the clinic she has designed. She now has the balance she always wished for and loves the relationship-based practice she and her patients love!
