这周的一件大事就是星期四的课程之夜curriculum night。这次是我们疫情以来第一次实地的curriculum night。前两年都是线上进行的。curriculum night主要是向家长介绍一下自己，课程，教学计划，课堂要求，评分标准之类。Curriculum Night从晚上6:00到8:00。我回家的时候感觉好累。

星期五我在我的课上跟我的学生们一起庆祝了中秋节。今年的中秋节好像比去年早一些。今年我很惊喜地在Costco看到月饼和凤梨酥。这些在去年是没有的。我一直很羡慕大城市会有更多的亚洲食品。现在我们也慢慢有了。真好！我买了一盒月饼和两盒凤梨酥。星期四我们有一个中国家长给我打电话说他有很多的月饼，还有日本小零食。他吃不了，所以问我要不要。如果我需要的话，他就让他的儿子给我带到学校，我正好可以跟大家分享。我说，当然啦！越多越好啊！我觉得他给我的月饼比我在Costco买的月饼好吃。学生们也很喜欢！

这周我还在弄全美中小学中文教师协会的会员，因为我想建立一个中文荣誉社团(honors society)。这个社团的老师必须是会员才能申请。这件事本来应该是很简单的，但是却没有一帆风顺。申请会员需要付费，但是他们的支付系统很奇怪，一定要通过PayPal。但是我们用学校的信用卡就一直出问题。所以只能等到下周再试试了。不过我觉得最后一定能够成功的。
