Episode 26 - "Phone home."

Welcome back to the Silver Screen Podcast. This is the first in what may become a semi-regular feature, shorter "mini reviews" of films that at least one of us has just seen at the cinema. If you follow our sister podcast "Hit or Miss: Star Trek" you'll have seen our first of these reviews covering the new 4k restoration of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This review though we'll be discussing Steven Spielberg's seminal 1982 classic E.T. The film was just re-released in cinemas to celebrate it's 40th anniversary and fellow 40 year old Mike was lucky enough to have been to see it on the big screen. This review will cover the experience, the look and sound of the film, how it resonated with both of our hosts and a short review of the acting, direction, music & legacy. Hopefully you enjoy it more than a classroom full of excited frogs. Be good!
