Recognized for his DIY attitude and prolific creative output, Courtney Sell’s work has been featured in Newsweek, Filmmaker Magazine and indieWire and more. His films are archived at the New York Film-Makers Coop, and he is the first Filmmaker to have cinematic material archived and preserved at the historic Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles, where he also teaches online courses. A large collection of his early documentaries were officially released on VOD in 2020. In addition to making films, Sell is the author of “Filming the Formless“ regarding his metaphysical film work.
